JETTE´S STORYTELLING

During this cinema lesson, Jette, our coordinator, familiarized us with the development of Danish cinematography, from silent movies, black and white movies towards special kind of movies based on so called DOGME 95, that is characterised with the following things: all the things are in natural environment, no studios, natural light, natural sound, natural props, clothes belong to actors, no extra light, handheld camera and so on and so forth.
We also came to know that for Nordisk Film there is a special symbol since 1906-POLAR BEER.
In my opinion this was an enriching time and we gained lots of good recommendations for movies, that’s always good to have:-) And what’s more, we could also observe the development of Danish mentality and culture thanks to this lesson and I regard this as very important when we are living here for these months.
